In order to credentialize his years of experience, Dan has thoughtfully achieved and actively maintains four risk-related industry certifications.
Dan's Certifications Include 1. Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP) – through the American Bankers Association, this certification measures knowledge of various risk categories, including credit risk and financial risks. 2. Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRCP) – through the OCEG, this certification is a formal way to capstone an existing career within the governance, strategy, performance, risk, compliance, ethics, internal controls, security, continuity, audit, assurance, and IT functions. 3. Fellow of The Business Continuity Institute (FBCI) – through The Business Continuity Institute, this prestigious certified membership grade is the highest attainable certification and is designed for professionals with over 10 years of experience and who have made significant contributions to the industry. 4. Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) – through DRII, this certification distinguishes those with superior knowledge and significant experience in our profession. While they are required to have broad business continuity experience, in most cases these professionals possess much more than the requisite knowledge. These professionals hold a vast scope of comprehension and guide their practices, departments or company with a high level of skill and expertise.
